White-Cheeked Gibbon

Critically endangered, the white-cheeked gibbon is a lesser ape from Vietnam and Laos. They have no tail and are closely allied with the larger great ape family tree. These arboreal acrobats are known both for their agility and for their vocal prowess. You can find these apes in the Tropics at the Zoo.
