Green Tree Python

The green tree python is an arboreal constrictor native to the islands of New Guinea and Indonesia and parts of Australia. These snakes are known to capture birds and rodents and spend a majority of their lives coiled over a tree branch. You can find our green tree python in the Snakes exhibit.
