The 31st annual Jazzoo, the Zoo’s largest fundraiser, should have been held as usual on the first Friday of June this year. Then the pandemic happened, so it was moved to August 28. But the pandemic kept happening and it was determined that we must cancel this year’s event for the health and safety of all involved.
However, the Zoo is still providing the highest quality of care to more than 1,700 animals every single day. It costs about $600,000 a year to feed them, money which we normally raise during this event. If you are able to make a donation to support the Zoo and the animals that call it home, it would be greatly appreciated. And, if you loved this year’s elephant theme as much as we did, we also have some Jazzoo merchandise to remind you of the best event that never happened. These are truly collector’s items and also benefit the Kansas City Zoo, which is a non-profit organization.
Thank you for your support!
