Kansas City Zoo is reducing the cost of admission during the month of January.
Due to the inclement weather, for the safety of our staff and guests, the Zoo will be closing at 2 p.m. today December 17, 2016.
With no snow in the forecast, we are making our own at the Zoo this weekend! On Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, join us for SnowZoo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our animals will be cooling off with icy treats. Join in the snowy fun this weekend.
Head to Koala Flats at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31 to help us celebrate the third birthday our Koala boys!

The Kansas City Zoo is proud to announce the birth of a male Bornean Orangutan. Born on May 23 to Mom Josie, who is turning 14 years old later this month, he is cozying-up and tucked in close to Josie’s chest.
Two new animals from the outback are joining our koalas at the Kansas City Zoo. A male and female dingo are now on exhibit in Australia. Meet our newest canine species and see them exploring their new digs near the kangaroos.
