Ever wonder what happens at the zoo once the sun sets? Scouts can work on scout requirements as they discover what really happens at the Zoo after dark! Our Scout overnights are designed by level so that Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts can earn their petals, badges, belt loops and pins.
SCOUT PROGRAMS BY LEVEL:
Daisies – 3 Cheers for Animals Workshop
If you love animals and nature, then this is the workshop for you. This two-hour workshop explores animal basic needs, feeding and communication. Each scout will receive a journal containing activity pages that will help them begin (but not complete) their 3 Cheers for Animal Journey.
Brownies – Wetland Wonders Workshop
Dive into the wetlands at the Zoo. This two-hour workshop will help Brownies begin (but not complete) their Wonders of Water Journey badge. Discover the water cycle and learn the importance of wetlands in the ecosystem. And, let’s not forget the animals that live in the wetlands!
Junior – Eco Explorers
In this 2 hour workshop, scouts will go on a learning safari as they explore the rainforest while learning about the animals and plants that live there. Scouts will also make an animal home to help them begin (but not complete) the requirements for their Animal Habitats badge.
Tigers – Backyard Jungle and Tigers in the Wild
This two hour workshop will delight and entertain our new cub scouts. Join us in working on your “Backyard Jungle” and “Tigers in the Wild” adventures while you learn what conservation and recycling mean. You’ll play games, get up close to some animals, and tour the zoo.

This two hour workshop will take you into the past! Join us in working on your “Digging into the Past” adventure and learn all about Dinosaurs. Join us in exploring what made many dinosaurs unique, create your own dinosaur, and make a fossil. You’ll play games, get up close to some animals, and tour the zoo.
