Purr-fect Picnics

Only $15 per person, picnic packages include Zoo admission, food and beverage from an approved Zoo caterer and a Zoo-riffic picnic location. Purrr-fectly planned daytime picnics can accommodate groups beginning at 40 guests. Rentals are for two hours, but all guests can enjoy the Zoo throughout the day of the event. Caterers and menu options are included in this packet.

 - $15 per person (children ages 2 and under free)

Locations

KidZone Pavilion - A covered pavilion located next to the Endangered Species Carousel and KCZoo Live Animal Show, this is a great place for groups who want to dine in the middle of the Zoo. KidZone Pavilion is furnished with picnic tables.

Lower Lobby - Located downstairs in the Lobby, this is the ideal place for groups that like a more private setting. Lower Lobby is climate-controlled. Lower Lobby is furnished with tables and chairs.

Groups from 150 guests to 400 or more
- $15 per person (children ages 2 and under free)

Location

Tropics Field - Located behind the NEW Tropics exhibit, this tented space can accommodate large groups. There is ample space for activities, contests, presentations, bands and much more! Tropics Field is furnished with picnic tables.

Groups over 400 guests will need to eat in shifts or rent an additional tent, tables and chairs. Picnic table moving fee will apply if guest requests special setup.
