Zoological District Resident (Jackson/Clay County MO) pricing is only $5 Adults, $4.50 Seniors, $4.00 children 3-11. Regular Pricing $11.50 Adults; $10.50 Seniors; $8.50 Children ages 3-11. 2 and under are free.

The Zoo offers meals and snacks to suit every appetite, ranging from traditional burgers and hot dogs to grilled chicken sandwiches and salads; and snack foods from ice cream confections to hot pretzels. Due to seasonality, hours and availability of concessions may vary.
Your purchases in the Zoo’s concession stands and gift shops support the Zoo’s conservation and education programs. However, you are welcome to bring in your own food and beverages; we ask that you do not bring in glass containers or alcoholic beverages. You are welcome to retrieve items from your vehicle and return to the Zoo within the same day as long as your hand is stamped by the main entrance attendant.
The Beastro (indoor and outdoor seating) Open year round the Beastro is in the lobby of the Zoo near the Front Entry Plaza. Features: Sandwiches, hotdogs, salads, soup, Jungle Java (a special coffee blend from The Roasterie), cookies, soft drinks.
Carousel Cafe (outdoor seating) Carousel Cafe is located next to the sea lion pool. Features: Hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken strips, pizza, kids meals, fries, soft drinks
Rafiki Restaurant (indoor and outdoor seating) Rafiki Cafe is located in African Market area. Features: Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, fries and soft drinks
Bluey’s Grill - (indoor and outdoor seating) Bluey's is located near the Australia Train Station. Features: Hotdogs, pretzels, nachos, beer and soft drinks Bluey's will be closed November - February.
Boathouse Bar (outdoor seating)- Boathouse Bar is located near the Africa Tram Station and is open on weekends only. Features: Beer, margaritas and soft drinks. Boathouse Bar will be closed November - February.
Safari Snacks - (outdoor seating) Safari Snacks is located near the Africa Tram Station and Rafiki Restaurant. Features: Hand-dipped ice cream, soft drinks and snacks. Safari Snacks will be closed November - February. Treetops Snacks (outdoor seating) - Treetops Snacks is located near rhinos and hippos in Africa. Features: Hot dogs, sandwiches, ice cream novelties, soft drinks, pretzels and nachos Treetops Snacks will only be open limited hours on nice weather weekends during November - February.
There are picnic areas throughout the Zoo, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
