May I check on the status of my application? No. Each year, the Kansas City Zoo receives more than 1,500 applications for employment. Due to the large volume of applications received, we will be unable to contact every applicant and cannot accept follow-up or status-check phone calls.

How much do Zoo positions pay? Most seasonal Guest Service roles pay between $7.25 and $10 per hour. Most entry-level, full-time-administrative, and functional roles begin at $9 per hour.
