Payment Payment must be received at least two weeks before your visit/program. Please note that fees for education programs will be invoiced separately. Your reservation is not confirmed until payments are received. If payments are not received, your reservation may be cancelled. Please make separate checks for each invoice. Make checks payable to FOTZ. The Zoo also accepts Visa and MasterCard. No purchase orders will be accepted. Remember, failure to prepay will cause delays.
Rescheduling Visits Rescheduling is dependent on availability. If rescheduling is not possible, rain checks will be issued. Sorry, no refunds. To reschedule, please call (816) 513-5723.
Chaperones For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, one adult chaperone must be present for every 10 students. Students must remain with a chaperone at all times. When visiting our gift shops, please provide one adult chaperone for every five students.
Tram to Africa $.50 each way. Minimum of one adult per car. Students must remain seated until the tram has reached the unloading zones and come to a complete stop. No spitting, rocking, standing, or throwing objects.
